Been posting a lot on [info]ryokucha_chin >.<

Anyway, I graduated!! OMG YEY!! Freedom~!

And I just finished my first college class! (started it during the school year...wanted to get all my math out of the way...hate math...)

Wow, how time goes by!

Ok, hm, so if you could name one pet-peev what would it be and why?

Well, I'm not going to say what mine is. But I will let you know that it REALLY bugs me (go figure) and I personally think that over-doing it is one of the lowest things you can do to yourself as well as others. I think that if you have this so-called-problem which is my personal pet-peev (or at least, if you really have it) then you have self-flaunting issues. Meh.

Anyone guess what it is?

Sorry, been dealing with my "pet-peev" a lot and it's resulted in some unwanted circumstances. Oooh well.

Oh a happier note, I turn 18 soon! Boo yeah! I'm so gonna buy a lottery ticket...just cuz I can (and if I win a million dollard or something, I'm gonna die x.x)

Till next time XOXO

Ok, so, yeah...

Sorry I can't seem to stay on here >.< I mean, I tell myself "Hm...I need to go update my journal..."

But then I think, "Uh...well...what am I gonna say?"

Because, I mean, come on! Nothing interesting ever happens! The only time I feel like writing something is when I'm angry or upset because then everything just kinda come out...and where's the fun in that? I don't want to have a depressing journal.

Meh.

So, I'm going to try...try to write good things....*thinking about today*

Um...

I finished reading Ink Heart? Yeah, finally! I started watching a new anime called The 12 Kingdoms....it's ok, kinda childish...

Am I the only one who thinks so many things are childish? Just recently: Eargon and Ink Heart, especially. I mean, they're good stories, they really are. I just can't...I mean, they just seem like they were written for 12 year olds, is all.

And just as a random thought, you know what I really want to read (again)?

Sacred Sacrament (I think that's how you spell it...).

And Autumn Bridge, of course (Thanks
[info]willow_rhayne XD)

So, I guess that's my que to go read! Hahaha...

I'm about 6 weeks early but there is this big huge reason and crap which I'll be sure to let you all know, I just need some time to get everything typed up and some more time to get back to reading what's going on in all your lives... (pleeeeeeeeeease either comment here or e-mail me what's happened in the past 8 months or I fear I shall get lost in everyone's journal... -_-;;;) I also need an new layout, bedroom door, and Kingdom Hearts II...but those can wait... :P

Anyway, so yeah, thank you all for your support and everything while I was away (especially [info]dazed_faerie ...OMG YOUR BEAST CHAPTERS AND E-MAILS SAVED MY LIFE! THANK YOU!) And I'm really sorry if you e-mailed me and either I was reeeeeeally slow or never replied. I read them but I had to use my school's computers for e-mailing people and lots of time I had no time.

Hey everyone! First off, I'd like to appoligize for not really commenting in all yall's journals for the past week of so very constentally...

If you really need to, blame dazed for introducing me to Beast (XD jk Alyssa-chan, I'll love you forever for giving me that little link ^.^) which has occupied all my free time for the past three days...

And then photoshop for being so adicting XD

And me for being so lazy...

>_< I'm really sorry you guys. I'm gonna pick a day (in the VERY near fututure) and go around to catch up on all the entries I've missed (unless you've got a million or something -- then it'll just be most of them...). I'm very sorry if I've missed something important *bows*

One of the other reasons I've been so lazy latley is also because of my visa. It's been one over-grown pain in the ass to get it. (for those of you who don't know what a visa is...no, it's not a credit card...it's a little sticker thing that goes inside your passport. Simple: passport = get out of the country, visa = get in another one ^_^). We had some horrible complications that almost resulted in me not going to be able to get my visa in time for my flight to Japan (some will blame AYJ, I myself blame the postal service).

BUT it arrived today on the lovley FedEX truck and is now safly stuffed inside my purse :)

That's a HUGE amount of stress gone poof off my shoulders! I'd go into our long rush to get my visa (cause looking back, it's rather funny now...though not at the time) but it's too long of a story my arms are too sore (I got two shots the other day, and I'm a sucker for shots t.t)

Anyway I was completly annoied, not to mention suprised, yesterday when my friend Ricky showed up at my house around noon and took me away from my belovid Beast v_v Here I was, nose glued to the computer screen, when BAM! Ricky pops up around the corner.

*gasp, gag, clutch throat, choke, and take a deep breath*

I WAS STILL IN MY PJ's!! I hadn't even done my hair yet, much less showered! I don't think I've ever been more mortified. He didn't even call!

So yeah, after rushing off to get dressed and running the brush through my hair, I finally settled down and we tried to figure out something to do. Edventualy we called Kyle, and it took us a grand HOUR (during which Ricky got on my messenger and talked to oneothora and killa, whom both concluded that he is, indeed, and freak) to decided that we'd take my little sister and her friend down to the local park. We stoped and got milk shakes at McDonalds first, though XD

I'm, honestly, glad I got torn away from Beast because it was such a fun trip! We played "hide-and-seek" around the park for hours and even ventured over to the little water area next to it (where we all got soaked...fully clothed in jeans, shirts, and all...). Despite the jeans sticking to my legs, water drying and making my hair all frizzy, and Beast calling my name (I could hear it...I swear!), I really enjoied myself!

It was kinda like a last time for me to get together with my guys and my sister to just have fun before I leave (school, for them, started today >_<). Zan edventually came over, but she didn't stay very long (it was late and she had to get ready for school).

Ok, *siiiiiigh* I guess on a ending note here, I'd like to say that I'm pretty sure (like, 99%) that I won't be able to read everyone's journals when I'm gone. That's why I'm catching up now (and the fact that I feel really guilty...). However if you'd like to e-mail your entries to me, I'd be glad to read and (most likley) reply. I don't want to be in the dark about what's going on in everyone's lives now, do I? *winks* Moreover, don't send me them unless you have to time or will too. I don't want to sound like I'm saying, "Send them to me, or else!!".

(E-mail, if you don't know it already, is baka_baka16@hotmail.com)

I leave, again if you missed it, on August 31st (wednesday) and I'm not sure if I'll make it back to update here or not...(I probably will on Tuesday).

So, Ja till then!

Man, I've been working on PS too much T_T

I need a life <_>;

First off, I finally got around to making another Broken Glass icon...and it's a blinkie!! YEY!!

XD

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Annnnnnd while running around on DA, I found a few sketches drawn by some very good artists and colored them ^^

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I loved how the sketch of this looked, so I decided to keep the sketchy style. This was drawn by Queen-Of-The-Cute (queenofthecute.deviantart.com). This next one was also drawn by her...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Again, wanted to keep it looking like a sketch.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ok, this one was drawn by foolire (foolire.deviantart.com/)

These all look better on my DA account -_- (hiroko-chan.deviantart.com)

And that's all for now!

Hmmm...so I learned something new yesterday during sunday school (for a change...)

I'm probably not the first person to realize this, but I just thought it was really interesting.

You guys have all heard of Chrno Crusade, right? And you all know Chrno?

Yeah, well, if so, you know that the story has A LOT to do with time. Time in general, time in the past, time in the future, frozen time, time, time, time. Nearly everything deals with time (in Chrno and Rosette's case, it's running out of time...)

And now, you guy all know the word Chronical. Lost of books have in the title "Chronicals" in them some where and it's also a book in the Bible.

If you're unfamilar with it, there's many different forms. Chronic, chronically, chronicity, and, my personal favorite for this, chronometer.

an instrument for measuring time; especially one designed to keep time with great accuracy (dictionary.com)

Shorten in down to Chrono, and you get </b>Time</b>

Really! Look in up in the dictionary! It comes from the Greek word "khronos", which also means "time".

I thought that was so cool! We were studying Chronicals in the Bible and my teacher (aka my dad since he was subing for our teacher) asked us all what Chronicals means.

We were like, "Uh...written...time...?"

He told us to look deeper. Using the question, "What's another name for a watch?"

Me: Clock!

Dad: What's another name for a Clock?

All: ...

Dad: *sighs and goes to chalk board* Chronometer.

Me: *gasp*

Rest of class: What?

Me: *waves hands* Oh, nothing! I just realized something...

Dad: What?

Me: That I really like the word Chronometer *giggle*

Everyone: ...

I always thought it was SO WEIRD that the dude who made Chrno Crusade used the name "Chrno". It's not a name.

And then it got even weirder when the english translators changed it to "Chrono". I guess lots of people were mad about this...but I think it makes a lot of since. Chrno's name means time. Now, at least, I know why the manga-ka used Chrono (makes me thing of Rosette's clock now...O_O)

Meh. Anyway, just thought that was kinda cool. I'm an English freak, I love learning new words and how they fit together with other stuff.

XD

Yesterday Zan and I trucked it to the Fair (at laaaaaaast...). We spent the first hour or so walking around all the exibits and drinking Dr. Pepper before making our way to the rides. It was SO expensive!! $20 for a pass so you can go on all of them as manny times as you like, or $1 each for a ticket -_- We decided that there wasn't that manny rides that we wanted to go on so we bought the $18 for 24 tickets deal and split them.

The only bad thing about rides is that they make me SO SICK! @_@

Oh, and the Zipper wasn't running. OMG I WAS PISSED!! I LOVE THE ZIPPER! It's so horrible to go to a fair and not go on it! T.T

So anyway, after going on a few rides, we played some games. Zan did that happer one, where you hit the circle thing and se how manny lights light up. She actually won!! When I tried it I got the bar to move, like, 3 lights! I'm weak T_____T

The National Guard was there though, and they had a free rock climbing thing! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That was GREAT! Especially coming down! Me and Zan were the only two girls (at that time anyway) who made it to the top without the strong National Guard dude having to pull us up by the rope. *shrug* Hey, we got free key-chain things! It was so worth it!

The fair this year was $7 to get in so, we took all the free stuff we could get (this includes a key chain, cup, about 5 pens, crap load of papers, and water)

This is pretty pointless but it more for me to remember then anything else...

Ok, after reading Panda's newest chapter for Broken Glass, I just had to go and make some Fan Icons. These are made with her artwork, not mine, so if she doesn't approve of them, then I will delete them. I just though it would be nice for fans to have something they can use to show their love for the story.

(Note: If you can't see them, please tell me. I had that problem last time I made icons -__- Maybe I'm not adding pictures right or something. So if they don't show, can someone tell me how I add them? Thanks ^^ Also, the frames are from Hana Designs)

Woot! My birthday was this weekend, yey! I'm so happy...I got a lot of stuff :3

And Drivers ED is now officially over -- I passed! Heck yea! I do miss those long, boring drives through this little ol' town though.

Things are gonna be pretty uneventful on this end for a while now. My best friend has gone on a vaca and left me to my doom of summer-boredness.

Oh, yeah! Has anyone heard of Conquer before? It's an online RPG game (like FF-XI) only it's free! I'm on there all the time, it's so much fun. Everyone should join ~ go here

It takes forever to download but it's so worth it! If anyone does join, go to the Glory server. I'm a water tao there named (who wouldn't guess?) bakabaka.

Anyway, here's my reviews on some of the manga/games I got for my birthday (I would do a cut, but then you can't see the pictures T_T) so read on if you want:

~MANGA~

Hmmm...it was so hard for me to pick out the manga I wanted! Part of that had to do with the fact that B&N always has (in stock) volumes 2+ of a series and never volume 1. It makes it really difficult to buy anything!

So, here I was holding a beautiful $50 B&N gift card in my hand, as well as $30, running between the 2 manga sections and Suncoast. At lats, with an uneasy feeling, I decided on the following...

Kare First Love. I heard about it on someone's shoujo site before, then read a ton of reviews on amazon, all of which gave it about an A average grade. Besides, the cover is really pretty ^^ Anyway, even thought everyone who had ever read this book said it was good, I still hesitated a little. The story sounded...unorigional. However, I did get this book and I'm so happy!!! It's a great start to this series and I love it The art work is nice and, though the story is kind of normal for a shoujo manga, it's still wonderful and won't disapoint. A great A+ read.

Ok, this series, I kept seeing over and over again on all manga sites with big bold letters screaming "READ IT!" however, every time I went to B&N, I'd look at it, think about it, find something that looked better, and forget about it. This time, I had the money, and the guy on the cover was just too hot to resist. I bought it. Wow. To say I was suprised would be an understatement. Now I know why everyone loves this manga, it's just that good. My origional thought was that it had a typical story line, and thought that's correct, it also has fresh new twists. Completly different from Yu Watase's other works (including Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, etc...) I just really liked this book. The art work is much better here then her otherseries as well. The series has only 5 volumes, so it's a quick, fresh, new series that's really worth buying. A++

I bought this as a last minute decission thing and have to admit I was sadly disapointed. The art is not so good and hard to follow (I had to go back and read a few pages like, 5 times...) and the storyline is too typical. It's kinda like a bad version of Hana Kimi. The plot moves too fast and the main character doesn't really have a strong personality that you can just pick up, relate with, and love. Her personality is very weakly shown. I dunno, everyone has different tastes, and this just wasn't one of mine. I'd give it a C- thought because the guys were hot ^_^

~That's all the new series I've got so far. I went and bought the rest of Kare First Love and the next volume to Imadoki at B&N.com. Can't wait till they get here!~

~Games~

I've always loved DDR so I was thrilled when my parents got me this! It's so much fun ^_^ The only thing I thought was disapointing about it was that they don't keep much of the Japanese songs T_T and dancing to rap music isn't as thrilling. But it does have some good songs and it is a new game! It works with the eye-camera thingy too. Also, there's a reason it's called 'extreme'! There's five levels on this game that you can switch for whatever song you want: Beginner, Light, Standard, Hard, and Challenge. I'm not the best at DDR, but I'm not bad either however, I'm still just in light mode (and I get b's and c's...thought I've started getting some a's now...) Standard is hard, Hard is like, whoa...no way..., and how anyone can do challenge is amazing. So, harder levels, more music, lots of dancing. This game is great. This picture gets me every time...

lmao...

Samurai Legend Musashi! Yey! Another game by Square Enix (which is one of the reasons I picked it...). I haven't really played the game yet, but after watching the opening, I can say it looks really cool (if not a little cheesy). I read a review for this game that said that (at the beginning at least) there was a lot of just... button meshing. I liked the sound of  that. Not much stragedy...just meshing buttons and watching what happens (reminds me of Dynasty Warriors). So yeah, try it out.

~END~

That's about it. Off to comment rounds...

First of all, I'd like to say I'm sorry for how slow I am at commenting in everyone's journals...I'm trying my best!  I'd also like to mention that I love talking to everyone and I'm so glad no one has forgotten me T_T I really missed you guys!

Now...

How has everyone's summer been? Mine is pretty boring! It was really sad when our exchange student left though...

Oh, my birthday is this comming Sunday so all my friends got together and through a suprise party for me on Saturday!! It was so COOL! I've never had one :P I guess that's what happen on your "sweet 16" heh heh. I wanted to cry...

And now my dog is hurt (or she's just acting that was for attention -_-). She won't walk anywhere, so I have to carry her. Poor thing (if she wants attention, she's gonna get it cause I luvvvvv her ~ ~ ~)

Anyway maybe this will give everyone a small clue as to what I've been doing this summer so far *evil laugh*

Need Something to *do* this summer? How about free manga? A list of great manga is here! (I should make a site ...) )
